The Tourism Directorate of the Arunachal Pradesh Government has rolled out several transformative schemes aimed at bolstering the state's tourism sector and fostering socio-economic development. Among these initiatives are the Chief Minister's Paryatan Vikas Yojana (CMPVY), which focuses on infrastructural enhancement and the creation of tourist-friendly amenities to elevate visitor experiences across the region. Complementing this, the Chief Minister's Paryatan Shiksha Yojana (CMPSY) empowers local communities by promoting homestays and eco-tourism ventures, offering training and financial support to homestay owners and operators. Additionally, the Hunar se Rozgar Tak scheme aims to skill and upskill youth, tour guides, and hospitality professionals, equipping them with industry-relevant training and certification to enhance service standards and career prospects. These schemes collectively reflect the Directorate's commitment to sustainable tourism practices and inclusive growth, ensuring Arunachal Pradesh emerges as a premier destination while empowering its residents and preserving its cultural heritage.
