Anu homestay is situated near BSNL Office, Sera road, near taxi parking, Bomdila and it comes under residential area. This homestay is started in 04/10/2016 and fully operational. It is registered under the Department of Tourism, homestay, the owner Mr. Tashi Tesring, working as a contractor and his wife Mrs. Tenzin Drema, she is a housewife.
Approach from Car Drop Point
Anu homestay is just 50mtrs from sumo counter. There is APST Bus services available for this route. The guest can sumo services or APST bus services from Itanagar or Naharlagun. Guest can come from Tezpur or Guwahati by hiring paid taxi as well. Guest can visit by their own vehicle also. If the guest is coming by sumo service, they can inform the host first so that the host can pick-up the guest from the main sumo counter. And this service is for free.

Furnishing
All rooms have wooden beds with nice mattresses. Table and wooden sofa in every rooms. Every rooms have TV facility. There is wardrobe in each room. Most important the host provide Local heater in each rooms. Dressing mirror and well fitted lights, phone charging point.
Linen
Bedsheets, Pillow with pillow covers and Chinese blankets are placed in every rooms. On request guest can ask for towels and extra pillows and blankets.

Bathrooms are attached with well furnished with tiles, western style WC, Geyser, shower, basin with mirror, change cloth racks and bucket & mug.
Kitchen
Kitchen is made in modern style where local heater is placed. There is a space for dinning where guest can have their food. Guest can use hosts kitchen to prepare their food. Guest usually gather or share to have a talk, to have their breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is a kind of sitting cum dinning space.
Food
Two meals – breakfast and dinner and teas are provided by the host as per guest request. If guest wants to have lunch, they have to inform early. Indian and traditional foods are available for the guest. There is a dinning space for guest to have their meals.

Host and his wife both are hospitable, helpful and hardworking couple.
Hygiene
Poor hygiene. Bathrooms are not hygiene. They don’t use disinfectant in the bathrooms and floors.
Organic food
Owner have their own kitchen garden, where they grow seasonal vegetables and fruits. Sometime they buy vegetables and fruits from the local from market which is sell by the villagers.

It has proper sewage system.
Garbage disposal area
Urban Development garbage vehicle come to pick up disposed garbage.
Cleanliness
There is lack of cleanliness in bathrooms. There is no dustbin in bathrooms as well as in rooms.
As per survey, everything is perfect as per Homestay norms and the host is hospitable, good, hardworking but there is a lack of cleanliness and hygiene which is very important. Bathroom corners especially near water outlets are dirty. There is no dustbin in bathrooms. The host must take good care of cleanliness, hygienic and aesthetic upkeep of their Homestay to grow even more in the future. Small effort makes a difference. Good luck!
